REPLAY The LiveStream now!

“What does my Lord say to His servant?”

It is more important than ever to approach every election with an open but inquisitive mind. The future of our city, state and nation as well as the justice & welfare of our neighbours is decided by the people who “show up”.

Christians are a constituency invited to participate in our liberal, inclusive democracy like all others. We additionally have a Biblical mandate to pray for those in authority, to seek the peace of the city, and to intervene in injustice. Our vote and voice is the best opportunity most of us have. The right motivation for political influence is not “self”, but sincere love for our neighbours.

This event will introduce the candidates seeking election as Mayor of Logan City and where you can find out more information about their policies and platform. Some pastors from around the city will ask questions about public issues important to them & other Christian voters, and then people in the meeting and watching via livestream will be given an opportunity to ask additional questions.

Joshua 5:13-14

13 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, a Man stood opposite him with His sword drawn in His hand. And Joshua went to Him and said to Him, “Are You for us or for our adversaries?”

14 So He said, “No, but as Commander of the army of the Lord I have now come.”

And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped, and said to Him, “What does my Lord say to His servant?”
